Job Title Android Development, Technical Lead What does a successful Android Development, Tech Lead do at Fiserv? At Fiserv, a Tech Lead guides and mentors our dynamic team of developers, ensuring the successful delivery of innovative mobile banking solutions. You play a critical role in building and maintaining software, focusing on developing new features, enhancing existing ones, and ensuring technical and architectural vision is realized. As a Tech Lead, you will be at the forefront of driving process improvement, training, and tool selection to support the management team’s initiatives. What you will do: Guide development projects, ensuring high-quality deliverables and alignment with technical and architectural vision. Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical consultancy during client meetings. Lead the creation and improvement of software development methodologies and practices across multiple product lines. Act as an escalation point for technical issues, identifying and implementing effective solutions. Mentor and provide feedback to development teams, ensuring that solutions are secure, maintainable, supportable, and performant. Deliver training sessions to ensure team members are skilled in the latest technologies. Collaborate on software architecture and design decisions for mobile solutions products. Advocate for and ensure the delivery of quality code across product lines. What you will need to have: Minimum 8+ years hands-on software development experience, in writing Android apps. An advance understanding of app publication mechanisms. Proficiency in Kotlin for Android Experience with Jetpack Compose for Android Experience with CI/CD pipelines and app deployment to App Store/ Google Play Excellent problem-solving, communication and teamwork skills.
