Users gave us the insight - when one use case outweighs the others, everything else seems like noise. We listened. Like how Craigslist quietly seeded a generation of focused companies & marketplaces, we began unbundling and verticalizing. We are backed by leading global and domestic investors including Y Combinator, Sony, Global Brain, India Quotient, and 3one4 Capital ● Prior internship experience or projects in Android development (Share links to your apps on Google Play, if available). ● Strong understanding of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices. ● Familiarity with Kotlin or Java. ● Basic knowledge of Android SDK and open-source Android libraries. ● Experience working with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications with backend services. ● Understanding of offline storage, threading, and performance tuning. ● Proficient in Git and version control systems. ● Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design. ● A passion for user-centric product development and engineering excellence. ● Familiarity with cloud messaging APIs and push notifications. Bonus Points If You: ● Have worked in a fast-paced product-based startup. ● Possess conversational knowledge of any regional Indian language. ● Regularly consume startup-related content (articles, books, podcasts, documentaries, etc.).

Responsibilities

The intern will assist in developing Android applications and contribute to user-centric product development. They will work with various technologies and tools to enhance the Lokal platform.
