Through your skilled work, you will be helping to fulfill the Legacy mission of making life better for others. Responsibilities The Anesthesia Aide is a technically skilled person, responsible for assisting in the set-up of Anesthesia equipment, assisting with changeovers, and ordering and stocking supplies wherever needed for the Department of Anesthesia. The Anesthesia Aide works in collaboration with the Clinical Anesthesia Specialists (CASs), surgery staff, purchasing and pharmacy. The Anesthesia Aide takes direction from the Anesthesiologists and CASs. The Anesthesia Aide may be requested to be on pager standby as needed. Qualifications Education: High School diploma required. Understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and math principles preferred. Experience: One year of hospital-experience preferred. Skills: Attention to detail. Ability to accurately perform repetitious tasks. Licensure BLS/CPR certification from the AHA required prior to start. Pay Range USD $20.07 - USD $27.18 /Hr.
