Position #: 205349 Expected Start Date: TBD Union: HSAS Facility: Royal University Hospital City/Town: Saskatoon Department: Operating Room Type: Part-time regular FTE: 0.5 Shift Information: Days, Nights, Evenings, Weekends Hours of Work: 28 shifts of 8 hours per 12 weeks Relief: No Float: No Field Hours: No Salary or Pay Band: Pay Band Anaesthesia Assistant $45.074 to $54.991 Job Summary: The incumbent provides clinical assistance to anaesthetists, as well as calibrating, troubleshooting and performing repairs on anaesthetic equipment, as required, at all acute care facilities. Individuals in this position have a blended reporting relationship, reporting administratively to the manager, cardio-respiratory services (i.e. payroll, professional issues), financially to the manager of nursing - operating room (i.e. direct purchase authorization, inventory additions/deletions) and receives clinical direction from the department of anaesthesia.
