UPMC Presbyterian is hiring a full-time Anesthesia Tech Associate to join their anesthesia department! This position will work evenings, nights and weekends including 2, 8-hour shifts and 2, 12-hour shifts Monday-Sunday. This position does require holidays, weekends, and on-call coverage.
Applicants will be placed in the appropriate job title and salary from the career ladder, based on their individual experience and education.

• Retrieves and appropriately distributes the equipment as directed to prepare a patient for anesthesia.
• Assists in turning over rooms assuring minimal downtime between cases.
• Helps maintain an adequate supply of all stock items in work room and keeps the work room clean and in an orderly condition.
• Under supervision disassembles, decontaminates and sterilizes anesthesia equipment and supplies.
• Assists in stocking the carts and surgical suites with the required supplies as outlined on the anesthesia surgical suite stock par list.
  High School Diploma or GED required. 6 months - 1 year of health care experience preferred. If no previous hospital or pre-hospital training, must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to progress to an Anesthesia Technician position within 6months to 1 year of hire.
