JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Anesthesia Technician to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting anesthesia providers during surgical procedures and ensuring the safe and efficient operation of anesthesia equipment. This position requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, acute care environments, and the ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations.

• Prepare and maintain anesthesia equipment for surgical procedures in the Operating Room (OR) and other clinical areas.
• Assist anesthesia providers with the administration of anesthesia, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the process.
• Monitor inventory levels of anesthesia supplies and equipment, performing inventory management tasks to ensure availability.
• Maintain cleanliness and functionality of all anesthesia-related equipment, conducting routine checks and troubleshooting as necessary.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals in a Level I or Level II Trauma Center setting to provide optimal patient care.
• Utilize electronic health record systems such as Epic for documentation and tracking of patient information.
• Stay updated on best practices in anesthesia technology, including basic life support protocols and hospital medicine standards.
