Now Hiring: Anesthesia Technician — Join Our High-Performing OR Team! Are you energized by fast-paced environments, hands-on technical work, and being an essential part of the surgical team? Our Operating Room is looking for a skilled Anesthesia Technician to support safe, efficient, and high-quality care for patients undergoing anesthesia. In this role, you’ll be the go-to expert for preparing rooms, equipment, and supplies that keep our anesthesia service running smoothly. No two days are the same — and your impact will be felt in every case. What You’ll Do Ensure seamless anesthesia operations by: Maintaining anesthesia supplies and medications, including inventory control, restocking, and organization. Transporting gas machines and anesthesia equipment to/from OR and off-site locations. Assisting anesthesia providers with offsite cases. Retrieving and distributing medications to Anesthesiologists, CRNAs, or PAs for patient preparation. Communicating effectively with anesthesia and OR teams to prioritize room assignments and support case flow. Remaining readily available in operating rooms to assist as needed. Keep equipment safe and ready by: Disassembling, decontaminating, sterilizing, and reassembling equipment; reporting issues promptly. Preparing, testing, setting up, and maintaining anesthesia equipment; troubleshooting and performing routine cleaning. Operating the Blood Cell Saver. Supporting room turnovers to minimize downtime between cases. Support patient care and procedural success by: Preparing and stocking anesthesia carts and suites to par levels. Setting up IVs, central lines, arterial lines, and invasive monitoring equipment. Assisting with difficult airway management and specialty room setups. Transporting lab samples and retrieving blood products. Performing approved Point-of-Care (POC) testing. Maintaining clean, organized workrooms and complete, accurate records.
