Description

Pinnacle Health Medical Services seeks Anesthesiologists – Pain Management in Lititz, PA (multiple openings) to direct and plan the administration of anesthesia for assigned patients; review pre-procedure testing and conduct preoperative evaluation of the patient and develop plan of care; document all aspects of anesthesia care directly administered; responsible for consultations and communication between Surgeons, patients, family members, and other Anesthesia staff; evaluation and management of anesthetic and analgesic nerve blocks in patients undergoing surgery or trauma; implementation of multi-modal pain management technics in the inpatient and outpatient setting. Position requires working at multiple work locations throughout Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.
Job Responsibilities:

Direct and plan the administration of anesthesia for assigned patients; review pre-procedure testing and conduct preoperative evaluation of the patient and develop plan of care; document all aspects of anesthesia care directly administered; responsible for consultations and communication between Surgeons, patients, family members, and other Anesthesia staff; evaluation and management of anesthetic and analgesic nerve blocks in patients undergoing surgery or trauma; implementation of multi-modal pain management technics in the inpatient and outpatient setting. Position requires working at multiple work locations throughout Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.

  • Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) or foreign degree equivalent;
  • Completion of four years’ Residency Training in Anesthesiology;
  • Completion of one year of Fellowship Training in Pain Medicine
  • Board Certification or Board Certification Eligibility in Anesthesiology at time of hire;
  • Valid unrestricted Pennsylvania medical license or valid unrestricted Pennsylvania osteopathic medical license;
  • Applicants with any suitable combination of education, training, or experience are acceptable
