Overview ACD Division - The practice is a collegial and collaborative environment of physicians covering primarily adult orthopedics and podiatry with a small amount of general surgery. The orthopedic case mix is varied and includes joint replacement as well as sports medicine. The ideal candidate would be proficient with blocks and looking for a M-F or M, W, F schedule – no call, night, weekend, or holiday coverage.Our group is very well respected, with leadership roles at these hospitals, and has a long-standing relationship with the surgeons. We are the primary anesthesia group at Texas Health Southlake and Bear Creek Surgery Center while our coverage is increasing at Trophy Club. Several of our surgeons flip rooms which allows us to pair you up with a more senior anesthesia provider and get to know the surgeons.Southlake is an affluent community most well-known for its highly ranked public schools. The Carroll ISD is historically ranked in the top 3 in Texas. Additionally, Southlake offers a wide variety of restaurants and retail throughout the city, as well as in its charming Town Square. For the adventurous, Southlake offers miles of hiking trails, countless parks, and access to Grapevine Lake. For sports and entertainment, AT&T Stadium and the American Airlines Center are a short drive. Southlake is also near DFW airport, which is one of the busiest in the world making for easy travel. Most of our providers live in the Southlake area although Dallas is less than 30 minutes away.The available position is salaried with generous benefits, pension and opportunities for optional incentive shifts.
