Job Description The Melbourne Veterinary Specialist Centre (MVSC) is a multi-disciplinary specialist veterinary centre providing Dermatology, Internal Medicine, Behavioural Medicine, Surgical and Imaging services from two locations to veterinary practices within metropolitan Melbourne and regional Victoria. We have an exciting opportunity for a casual Animal Attendant to join our fun, hard-working, close-knit team that is dedicated to the best possible patient outcomes. Immediate start Casual position with potential for a permanent position in the future No weekend rosters No public holidays Above award wage Based at our Glen Waverley Centre About The Role As an animal attendant, you will play a critical role in the wellbeing of our patients. You will be there to provide comfort and the basic necessities, food and water, walks, a clean bed, etc. along with supporting our incredibly hardworking Nurses and Specialists by keeping the hospital sparkling clean and well-stocked. The successful candidate may also have the opportunity to assist/oversee the Specialists and Nurses in various specialist procedures throughout the day including but not limited to MRI, CT, Chemotherapy, Endoscopy, Ultrasound and Radiography and will also be involved in the making of allergy vaccines for our Dermatology patients. This is a casual position with the potential of further permanent hours for the right candidate. No public holidays or weekend work required. Interesting case load, a fun and supportive work environment, above award wage, working closely with all of our specialty departments.
