We are seeking a compassionate, dependable Animal Care Attendant to join our veterinary team. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about animal care and understands the importance of excellent customer service. Our Animal Care Attendants play a key role in supporting our medical team while also helping create a positive, reassuring experience for our clients and their pets. You will be responsible for the daily care of boarded and hospitalized pets, maintaining a clean and safe hospital environment, and interacting professionally with clients and team members. Every interaction—whether with a pet, a client, or a coworker—matters. Key Responsibilities Provide daily care for dogs and cats, including feeding, walking, bathing, and monitoring comfort and well-being Clean and sanitize cages, kennels, treatment areas, and hospital spaces Maintain laundry and general cleanliness throughout the hospital Assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians as needed Greet and interact with clients in a friendly, professional, and compassionate manner Communicate observations or concerns about pets clearly and promptly to the medical team Uphold hospital standards for safety, cleanliness, and client service Customer Service Expectations Treat every pet as an individual and every client with kindness, respect, and empathy Represent the hospital positively through professional appearance, communication, and behavior Help ensure clients feel confident and comfortable leaving their pets in our care What We’re Looking For A genuine love for animals and commitment to high-quality care Strong customer service and communication skills Reliability, attention to detail, and a positive attitude Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, walking, lifting, and cleaning throughout the shift Previous animal care, kennel, or customer service experience is a plus, but not required—we are happy to train the right candidate If you are looking for a hands-on role where animal care and client service go hand-in-hand, we encourage you to apply and join our supportive veterinary team.
