  Animal Care Monitor (Full-Time, Overnight) Schedule: 12:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m., five days per week Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: * Monitor animal areas, facility systems, and life support systems overnight. * Conduct routine rounds of designated areas and observe for any changes or concerns. * Recognize and report changes in animal behavior, building systems, and equipment performance. * Identify patterns or irregularities in the collection, facility, and life support systems. * Provide accurate status updates at shift change and communicate overnight system changes to managerial and other department staff. * Take appropriate corrective actions as needed or trained. * Work independently during overnight hours. * Assist with special projects and perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Animal Care. * Comply with all safety practices, Animal Care policies, practices, and procedures, employee handbook policies, and all applicable governmental and AZA standards. Requirements: A one-year certificate from a college or technical school is required, or three to six months of related experience and/or training.
