Ashia’s Cheetah Center, situated in Paarl near Cape Town, the hub for the projects conservation work, is looking for the right person to join our team on a 4-month fixed internship basis.
The intern will work closely with the Animal and Maintenance teams. You will be required to complete a 4 month internship workbook that focuses not only on soft skills in the work place, but also will provide you with the basic understanding of animal husbandry, behaviour and care.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary diploma in animal/conservation relevant field
  • Keen interest and passion for animal care
  • Experience with data analysis and good computer skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Team player and hard worker
  • Willing to learn new skills and do hard physical work
  • Innovative and solution-driven
  • Driver’s license and experienced, confident driver
