YOUR OPPORTUNITY We have an exciting Animal Caretaker IV Team Member opportunity in our Guymon location. The Animal Caretaker IV Team Member is responsible for loading market hogs from commercial finisher buildings being delivered to the processing plant under direction of the Loadout Supervisor. ESSENTIAL AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Sort and loadout market hogs while ensuring all loadout and animal handling procedures are followed. * Ensure that all Seaboard Foods loadout, animal handling, and safety guide procedures and guidelines are always followed by all team members. * Properly wear all personal protective equipment outlined in the company standard operating procedures (SOP). * Follow all biosecurity guidelines while performing all job duties. * Properly wash, disinfect and store equipment and clothing as needed and scheduled. * Assist in cleaning and maintaining office areas. The employee is frequently exposed to waste material, feed and hog dust. * The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, occasionally lift up to 100 pounds and sometimes push/and or move up to 300 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. NORMAL WORK SCHEDULE: The hours and days of work are established by departmental needs and at the discretion of management. After-hours, weekends and overnight travel as requested.
