This provides new employees with an understanding of Activate Learning’s mission, values and Learning Philosophy led culture, ensuring you feel connected and supported from day one.
In addition, we offer a one-day Introduction to Teaching session, covering our teaching, learning, and assessment approaches.

We value our people as vital to our continued success and aspire to a diverse, open and inclusive environment that provides the motivation for everyone to pursue their career goals and flourish.

We are excited to offer an opportunity for a teacher to join our Animal Management team at Banbury Campus.
In this role, you will deliver education and training to students primarily in BTEC Animal Management courses. This is a permanent, part-time role working up to 29.5 hours per week (0.80 FTE) based at our Banbury College.
What do you need to be successful as an Animal Management Teacher at Activate Learning?
We are looking for individuals who can act as a role model for our students and ensure that they leave us with not just their professional qualifications, but the attributes required to progress in the world of work. A genuine interest in working with and developing people is a requirement.
Previous teaching experience in the FE sectors and/or experience within the animal research sector would be an advantage, but it is not a requirement. If you have the subject specific qualification requirements and demonstrate the attributes to be an inspirational teacher, we can provide you with the necessary training, development, and support to equip you to become a teacher.
You should be:

Your outstanding communication and interpersonal skills will enable you to deliver engaging and effective lessons to a diverse range of learners. Additionally, you will have strong organisational skills, the ability to prioritise workloads, and will thrive as part of a supportive team in a varied role with numerous opportunities for career development.
