Description
At Clemens Food Group, we’re proud to lead with purpose — and quality. We’re looking for a seasoned FSQA Engineer to join our 2nd shift operations and help elevate our food safety and quality systems in a dynamic, protein-focused production environment. If you’re someone who thrives on complexity, enjoys digging into root causes, and knows how to bridge the gap between science and operations, this is your next big opportunity. You’ll collaborate closely with operations, R&D, and technical teams to troubleshoot issues, ensure regulatory compliance, and maintain excellence in every product we produce. This is more than a QA role — it’s a chance to influence outcomes in a fast-moving, hands-on, solutions-driven environment. Who You Are: A food safety professional with 4+ years of experience in high-volume, protein or meat-based food production; background in R&D or process development a plus. Strong understanding of HACCP, FSMA, SQF, and USDA regulations, with a track record of applying them in real-time environments. Technically curious and analytically minded — you ask “why,” not just “what,” and don’t stop until you find the right answer. Confident and decisive, yet collaborative — able to take initiative, own decisions, and work cross-functionally to get results. What You’ll Do: Implement and sustain food safety programs (HACCP, GMPs, SOPs, SQF) in alignment with both USDA regulations and Clemens standards. Drive cross-functional investigations into non-conformance, using technical knowledge and hands-on collaboration with R&D and operations to implement sustainable fixes. Analyze quality data and performance trends to identify risks and proactively implement improvements. Lead training and coaching of production teams to foster a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous learning. Application Note: Clemens Food Group is not accepting unsolicited resumes from search or staffing firms. All resumes submitted by search or staffing firms to any employee at Clemens Food Group via email, the Internet, or directly without a valid written search agreement for this role, and without having been asked to participate in this by Talent Acquisition, will be deemed the sole property of Clemens Food Group, and no fee will be paid in the event the candidate is hired. Firms not authorized to submit candidates will not be eligible for any fee or ownership claim.
