Description
About the role LegalOn is building AI that in-house legal teams can actually trust. To do that, we need legal professionals who can evaluate AI output the way a practitioner would, both for technical accuracy and for real-world legal judgment. This is a contract role for attorneys who want to contribute directly to how legal AI gets built, and who care about getting it right. What you'll do Review and annotate legal content used to train and evaluate our AI models Assess AI-generated contract analysis for accuracy, completeness, and legal soundness Provide structured feedback that directly shapes model improvements Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to improve evaluation frameworks and model performance Qualifications Licensed attorney in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction Experience supporting commercial, corporate, or transactional legal matters Strong analytical and written communication skills Ability to exercise legal judgment in ambiguous or novel situations; this is not a rote review role Interest in how AI systems reason about legal language (prior legal tech experience a plus, not a requirement) What You Can Expect Substantive work where your legal judgment is the product Direct exposure to how a legal AI platform is designed and evaluated A focused 6-month engagement with a team building in a domain you know well LegalOn is an equal opportunity employer committed to building an inclusive workplace, and we encourage applications from individuals of all backgrounds. LegalOn does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, genetic information, marital status, sexual orientation, gender identity, veteran status, or any other legally protected characteristic.
