Annual Fund and Events Manager Saint Joe’s   At Saint Joe’s, we believe in the power of community. We are seeking an energetic, creative, and strategic fundraising professional to lead our annual fund and signature fundraising events. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both relationship-building and execution — someone who can see the big picture, build a plan, and then bring it to life. The Annual Fund & Events Manager owns the strategy, planning, execution, and evaluation of Saint Joe’s fundraising events and annual giving program, helping grow donor engagement and long-term philanthropic support for our mission. Position Overview Events * Manages two major annual events: The Incline to the Finishline 5K and the Golf Classic along with donor appreciation and engagement gatherings throughout the year. * Beyond execution, the position is responsible for turning participants into supporters through intentional follow-up, stewardship, and relationship development. Annual Fund * The role also partners closely with the Chief Development Officer and Director of Marketing to grow the annual fund through appeals, engagement strategies, and donor cultivation. Key Responsibilities Event Strategy & Management * Plan, build and execute all aspects of Saint Joe’s signature fundraising events * Develop creative and engaging participant experiences that reflect the mission * Create an atmosphere for the 5K that celebrates disability * Manage timelines, logistics, vendors, volunteers (with the Volunteer Coordinator), sponsorships and budgets * Coordinate cross-department collaboration (programs, marketing, leadership) * Evaluate event outcomes and implement improvements year-over-year * Create strategies to convert event participants into donors * Plan and execute smaller donor appreciation and engagement events Annual Fund & Donor Engagement * Partner with leadership to develop and implement annual giving strategy * Execute multi-channel appeals (mail, digital, peer-to-peer, event-based) * Conduct donor follow-up, stewardship and relationship building * Support recurring donor program and corporate partnerships * Track engagement and giving data to guide strategy and retention efforts * Identify opportunities to deepen relationships with donors, corporate partners and community partners * Continuously identify new outreach and engagement opportunities     Desired Attributes * Is energized by the mission and the people we serve * Thinks creatively and enjoys trying new approaches * Sees challenges as opportunities rather than obstacles * Takes initiative and ownership of outcomes * Balances strategy and execution * Is collaborative, positive and relationship-oriented What Success Looks Like * Events that are engaging, memorable and mission-centered * Increased event participation * Increased donor retention * Strong follow-up converting participants into donors * Growth in recurring and annual giving * Expanded community engagement and partnerships
