POSITION SUMMARY

Temporary hourly-intermittent Work Study Student position in Anthropology, Geography and Environmental Resources.

QUALIFICATIONS

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrates the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
  • Demonstrates the ability to utilize office equipment (copy machines, fax, scanner, etc.) and follow verbal instructions.
  • Demonstrates the ability to be detail-oriented, and follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Demonstrates the capability to be motivated, dependable, and able to follow through on assignments.
  • Demonstrates the ability to work independently, take leadership, and meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrates excellent customer service and office etiquette skills.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Undergraduate students must be registered/enrolled in a minimum of six (6) Fall/Spring units.
  • Must have received and accepted Financial Aid award for the current semester/year in which you are applying.
Responsibilities

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Greeting visitors, filing, and scanning, archiving records, photocopying, creating and maintaining office files, emailing, transcribing, providing classroom support, and other related duties.
  • Basic troubleshooting with technology (printers, computers, copy machine, etc.).
  • Updating websites and social media.
  • Maintain office and event supplies.
  • Assist with event planning.
  • Maintain program office.
  • Must be able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
  • Retrieve and sort incoming mail and distribute appropriately/ make on campus deliveries.
  • Other duties as assigned.
