Description

Job description
We are looking for an experienced manager to join our Anti-Social Behaviour Team.
The successful candidate will have extensive experience of managing teams and delivering services in the fields of tackling anti-social behaviour (asb), community safety, tenancy enforcement or similar.
They will be responsible for ensuring that Sheffield has a high-quality, continually improving and customer-focused anti-social behaviour service.
Working under the Anti-Social Behaviour Service Manager, the post holder will be responsible for managing a team of officers and ensuring positive outcomes for those affected by asb.
The Anti-Social Behaviour Team comprises of Anti-Social Behaviour Resolution Officers, responsible for managing, investigating, and resolving serious/complex asb issues; uniformed Sustainable Communities Officers, who provide a visible presence in communities experiencing asb; and Anti-Social Behaviour Support Officers who provide specialist guidance, back-office support, advice and training.
If you are committed to improving the lives of those affected by anti-social behaviour, have the drive to find solutions to complex problems and can lead your team in delivering for communities, then we’d love to hear from you.
The post holder will generally work standard office hours, with a combination of office and home working. However, they will be managing staff who work shifts between 8am and 10pm, so occasional evening working may be required.
The Council offer flexible working opportunities which we will be happy to discuss further with potential candidates.
