Responsibilities Perform waived laboratory tests, schedule appointments, and document according to established guidelines provided in the Coumadin (Warfarin) therapy guidelines. Adjust medication dosage based on INR lab results Assist anti-coagulated patients both in office and via telephone management to assist maintaining a safe and therapeutic dosing regimen of Warfarin. Work with multi-disciplinaries including Home Health, Long-Term Care, and Skilled Care facilities. Manage office responsibilities which include documentation, records, and patient outreach. Accurately administer medications orally, IM, sub-q and IV. Coordinate the transfer of patients to hospitals. Qualifications Valid and current RN licensure in the state of Iowa Registered Nurse (RN) – Iowa Board of Nursing Prior experience in a clinical or outpatient setting preferred Familiarity with EPIC a plus!
