The ANTrepreneur Center, part of the Division of Undergraduate Education, is UCI’s central resource for undergraduate students interested in innovation and entrepreneurship. Rather than focusing solely on startup creation, the center is dedicated to building entrepreneurial mindsets. Programs include schoolwide innovation challenges, guest speaker series, workshops, mentorship opportunities, networking events, and access to hands-on resources like a mini makerspace and podcast room. The Center empowers students to explore, learn, and grow as innovators—wherever their careers may lead.
Responsibilities:
Under the general direction of the ANTrepreneur Center (AC) Director, the Program Lead uses skills as a seasoned, experienced student services professional, to implement innovative, student programmatic activities that foster entrepreneurship, innovation, and professional development for UCI undergraduates. This role coordinates and executes flagship AC events, facilitates workshops and speaker series, manages student staff, and builds partnerships with the greater entrepreneurial ecosystem across campus. Independently advises students and resolves student services-related issues related to AC activities. May advise faculty and campus partners on a variety of student issues related to AC activities. Works with the AC Director to recommend changes to policies, practices, and procedures. Guidance on issues requiring in-depth knowledge of specialized programs is provided by offices specializing in those fields, e.g., the financial aid office, graduate division, or student learning center. May administer award funds for student programs, if provided. The Program Lead works in close collaboration with the Unit Business Coordinator to ensure operational efficiency and serves as a liaison to the Office of Information Technology’s Hub to help students access industry-recognized software tools and certifications. This position plays a key role in amplifying student engagement and stewarding community involvement.
