Job Description Digital Manufacturing & Industry 4.0 : Experience as a Digital Manufacturing Engineer to work on Industry 4.0 technologies and reach the ambition towards digital twin. The Scope of activities involves:- Develop and implement discrete-event and agent-based simulation models for assembly line operations.- Create simulation models for manufacturing plants, logistics networks, and supply chains.- Perform cost-benefit analysis and recommend process improvements.- Conduct cycle time experiments to achieve target throughput per hour.- Create process flow logic and automation programming based on product mix.- Provide statistical and tabular reports on station, operator, and AGV utilization.- Inventory & Logistics Simulation.- Design and program process logic for inbound logistics and storage management.- Determine buffer sizes at stations to ensure continuous line operation.- Analyze and optimize Material Handling Equipment (MHE) requirements.- Implement Pull system strategies for inventory reorder and replenishment.- Conduct capacity studies for inbound logistics storage and line-side inventory to maintain takt time.- Program forklift speed, load/unload times, and aisle traffic constraints.- Identify bottlenecks and propose solutions for improved flow.Technical Skills:- Strong proficiency in Any Logic software and simulation methodologies.- Knowledge of Java programming for customizing models.- Experience with data analysis tools (Python, R, SQL, or Excel).Strong knowledge of Discrete Event Simulation (DES), Agent-Based Modeling (ABM), and System Dynamics (SD).- Experience with data analysis tools (Excel, SQL, Python, R).- Background in industrial engineering, operations research, supply chain, logistics, or healthcare systems.- Understanding of optimization techniques and statistical analysis.
