About the Role

This is a newly created Operations leadership role with a well established equipment rental business with a national footprint across Australia and into New Zealand. The business operates across several complementary product areas and is investing in bringing more consistency and process discipline across its operations as it grows.

You'll take ownership of asset management, logistics and fleet condition across the network, working closely with Team Leaders and Category Managers to lift systems and process performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Own end to end asset management, including onboarding new fleet and exiting old assets
• Oversee logistics of equipment moving in and out across the network
• Maintain fleet in excellent operating condition
• Lead and develop Team Leaders and Category Managers across the business
• Drive systems and process improvement within a Dynamics 365 environment
• Support closer collaboration and cross training across teams
• Manage fleet yield and margin performance in line with commercial targets
• Coordinate supplier and procurement relationships more consistently

About You

• Proven operations leadership experience, ideally within rental, equipment, logistics or asset heavy industries
• Strong systems and process improvement mindset, comfortable working in ERP environments (Dynamics 365 highly regarded)
• Experience leading through others via Team Leaders or Category Managers rather than hands on technical work
• Commercially minded, with an understanding of fleet yield, margin and asset utilisation
• Comfortable working across multiple business units and bringing teams together around shared process
• Confident engaging with clients around availability and delivery expectations
