SUMMARY

The position is located in Blum, TX. As a Robotic Maintenance Technician, you will use your skills to support the operations maintenance team in repairing and maintaining robotic machinery and pneumatic systems throughout campus facilities. You will have the opportunity to install, maintain and repair automated equipment. The maintenance technician is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the site’s business
goals and objectives. Works under general supervision.

REQUIREMENTS

  • May be required to be on-call, work overtime and weekends on occasion.
  • High school diploma required, Associates degree preferred. Trade Certification strongly preferred.
  • Technical certification in Robotic Programming or minimum of 4 years equivalent experience. Robotic training certificate strongly preferred or certification from an Industrial Robotic program.
  • Requires the ability to read facility utility equipment manuals.
  • Use of computerized building management system to maintain and troubleshoot facility equipment.
  • Advanced understanding of equipment/systems and in the diagnosis and repair of electrical and mechanical problems.
  • 5-10 years of process manufacturing preferred.
  • Document clearly (verbal and written) and ability to work from verbal and written instructions, manuals, wiring diagrams, work orders and specification.
  • Have PLC programming (from scratch) & troubleshooting experience.
  • Ability to diagnose motor failures and other electrical components within a CNC Machine such as Doosan, DMG Mori and MORI Seiki, Fanuc.
  • Knowledge of Critical safety devices and functionality.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
  • Ability to demonstrate understanding of blueprints, Original Equipment Manufacturer manuals, Bill of Materials and Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Knowledge and proper use of hand and power tools.
  • The ability to demonstrate an understanding of lean manufacturing principles.
