  • GCSEs in Maths and English (or equivalent)
  • Interest in aviation and engineering
  • Aerospace industry experience, ideally in Stores or Logistics
  • Strong communication and attention to detail
  • Self-motivated with good organizational skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to analyse and present data effectively
  • Team player in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with Quantum Inventory System desirable
  • Forklift license beneficial
  • Hazardous goods transit certification advantageous
Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking an AOG Stores & Logistics Officer for an 18-month fixed-term contract to support our Gatwick operations. Reporting to the AOG Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring customer requests are fulfilled efficiently.
This role follows a 2 days, 2 nights on (12-hour shifts), 4 off rota pattern, including weekends and nights. Flexibility is required to cover holidays and sickness within the team. While primarily office-based, occasional travel to liaise with airlines, suppliers, and customers may be required. A valid passport and driving license are essential.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Handling customer requests, sales, and exchange inquiries
  • Sourcing and ordering materials outside regular hours
  • Meeting AOG deadlines for customer satisfaction
  • Preparing and dispatching orders to vendors and customers
  • Expediting deliveries and coordinating with couriers
  • Ensuring data entry accuracy and maintaining organised records
  • Receiving, inspecting, and storing aeronautical parts, including electro-sensitive devices
  • Managing quality control, handling rejected parts, and resolving queries
  • Packing and shipping parts domestically and internationally with proper documentation
  • Collaborating across departments to support smooth operations
  • Performing additional tasks as required
