Focus on building strong relationships with diverse teams – Command Centre, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and application developers. Prioritise automating incident resolution and reducing operational noise. Continuously refine your models and systems to improve accuracy and deliver measurable results for OCBC. What you do Design and implement AIOps solutions to proactively detect, correlate, and resolve incidents across complex banking systems. Develop observability frameworks using tools like AppDynamics, Dynatrace, ELK, Prometheus or OpenTelemetry to monitor core banking, payments, and digital channels. Apply machine learning models for anomaly detection, predictive maintenance, and capacity forecasting. Integrate AIOps platforms with Observability and event management systems to streamline incident workflows. Collaborate with infrastructure and application teams to ensure secure and compliant monitoring practices. Build dashboards and automated alerting systems to support 24/7 operations and reduce Mean Time to Detect (MTTD) and Mean Time to Resolve (MTTR). Familiar with AIOps platforms such as Moogsoft, BigPanda, Elastic or IBM Watson AIOps tailored for financial services. Who you are Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in IT Operations, DevOps, or SRE roles, preferably in the banking or financial services sector. Strong hands-on experience with observability and monitoring tools (e.g., ELK, Prometheus, Grafana/Kibana, AppDynamics, Dynatrace). Proficiency in Python, Java programming, Shell scripting, or similar languages for automation and data processing. Elastic Logstash programming knowledge is a huge advantage Experience applying machine learning techniques to operational data (e.g., anomaly detection, clustering, forecasting). Understanding of incident management and change control in financial institutions. Experience with AIOps platforms (e.g., Elastic, Moogsoft, BigPanda etc...). Exposure to MLOps and model lifecycle management. Familiarity with Kafka, Logstash, and Kibana for data ingestion and visualization. Knowledge of banking systems, core banking platforms, or payment gateways. Certifications in Elastic or observability tools. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Ability to work in a high-pressure, regulated environment with a focus on reliability and security.
