Position Purpose Summary:
The Accounts Payable Analyst is responsible for processing vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies. This role involves resolving shipping and pricing discrepancies with vendors, reconciling vendor statements, and supporting the financial operations of the organization.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in accounts payable or a similar finance role.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS

• Strong understanding of invoice processing, reconciliation, and discrepancy resolution.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills for vendor and internal team interactions.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Process vendor invoices for both expense and inventory purchases.
• Review and verify invoice accuracy, matching invoices to purchase orders and receipts.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies related to shipping, pricing, and invoice errors with vendors.
• Reconcile vendor statements, ensuring all outstanding invoices are accounted for and paid timely.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including procurement and warehouse staff, to resolve invoicing issues.
• Maintain accurate records of accounts payable transactions and vendor communications.
• Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts payable.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Support internal and external audits by providing documentation as needed.
