About the role We’re hiring an AP/AR Specialist to take ownership of our accounts payable and accounts receivable functions as we bring them fully in-house. This role will be critical in freeing up leadership capacity, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting, and supporting audit readiness as Grüns continues to scale. This role is part of our remote HQ! We have a fully remote, high-trust work environment - and also come together on a quarterly basis for amazing off-sites where we can connect IRL. In this role, you will: Manage the payables process in Ramp, including invoice posting and vendor payments. Own AR processes for retail customers, ensuring timely and accurate payment collection. Take over AP/AR processes currently handled by Propeller, our outsourced consultants. Support a smooth and efficient month-end close process (goal: 5 business days). Prepare accurate documentation and reconciliations to support year-end audit readiness. Partner with internal stakeholders to streamline accounting workflows and increase visibility. We're looking for someone who: Brings 1–2 years of accounting and AP/AR experience, ideally in a high-growth environment. Background in the CPG industry required. Has strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Is detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy, timeliness, and problem-solving. Communicates clearly with internal partners and external vendors. Has experience with Ramp and QuickBooks (preferred, not required). Approach to the role: Strong attention to detail — double-checks work and ensures accuracy under deadlines. Communicates effectively with both internal and external stakeholders. Collaborates across functions with a solution-oriented mindset. For this role, the base salary range is between $60,000-$80,000 depending on experience.
