AP CLERK   This is a non-exempt, full-time, benefited position. Anticipated Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM Pay Range: $22.00 - $26.00 The Accounts Payable Clerk is responsible for processing and paying vendor invoices in a timely and accurate manner. This includes verifying invoices against purchase orders and receiving reports, coding invoices to appropriate general ledger accounts, and reconciling vendor statements. The Clerk will also assist with maintaining vendor records, resolving invoice discrepancies, and providing support for audits. Essential Functions * Process and verify vendor invoices against purchase orders and receiving reports. * Code invoices to appropriate general ledger accounts. * Enter invoices into accounting software. * Reconcile vendor statements. * Resolve invoice discrepancies with vendors. * Maintain vendor records. * Assist with audits. * Provide support to other accounting staff as needed. Responsibilities
The Accounts Payable Clerk is primarily responsible for the timely and accurate processing and payment of vendor invoices, which involves verifying invoices against purchase orders and receiving reports, and coding them to the correct general ledger accounts. This role also includes reconciling vendor statements, maintaining vendor records, resolving discrepancies, and assisting with audits and general accounting support.
