TechBlazers is an educational center specializing in robotics, programming, and 3D design. We are looking for an experienced AP Computer Science Instructor to join our team. This role is perfect for educators who are passionate about inspiring young minds, fostering computational thinking, and preparing students for academic success.
Job Type: Part-time (as per course schedule)
Compensation: $40.00 – $80.00 per hour

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related STEM field (required).
• Minimum 3 years of teaching experience, preferably in AP Computer Science or equivalent advanced programming courses.
• Proficiency in Java and strong knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and software design principles.
• Passion for STEM education and demonstrated ability to motivate and engage students.
• Previous experience with robotics or software development is considered an asset.

• Deliver high-quality instruction in AP Computer Science using engaging, project-based methods.
• Teach core programming concepts using Java and prepare students for the AP Computer Science A exam.
• Encourage logical and creative problem-solving through hands-on projects and real-world applications.
• Implement classroom management policies to maintain a safe, positive, and productive learning environment.
• Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to both students and parents.
• Research, update, and develop course materials as needed to align with AP curriculum standards.
