Description
Qiddiya Investment Company is seeking a highly experienced AP/Lifting Director to oversee all aspects of lifting and hoisting operations for our diverse and innovative projects. This key role is responsible for ensuring that all lifting activities are conducted safely, efficiently, and in compliance with industry standards and regulations. Your expertise will be instrumental in coordinating project plans, managing resources, and collaborating with various stakeholders to achieve seamless and safe lifting operations throughout all phases of construction. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement lifting plans and strategies for various construction projects, ensuring optimal safety and efficiency in operations. Oversee the selection, inspection, and maintenance of lifting equipment to ensure compliance with safety regulations and operational standards. Provide leadership and guidance to project teams in executing lifting operations, fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement. Conduct risk assessments and safety audits related to lifting activities, implementing corrective actions as necessary. Coordinate with engineering teams to ensure lifting designs are executed accurately and safely. Lead the training and development of personnel involved in lifting operations to ensure high levels of competency and awareness. Monitor project progress and performance against lifting plans, adjusting strategies as necessary to meet project objectives. Engage with regulatory bodies and ensure all lifting operations comply with local laws and international standards. Compile and present reports on lifting operations, performance metrics, and incidents to senior management. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in lifting operations and management on construction and engineering projects. Extensive knowledge of lifting and hoisting equipment, safety regulations, and operational best practices. Proven track record of successfully managing lifting operations in complex environments. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to mentor and develop team members. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities with a focus on safety and efficiency. Strong communication skills, capable of effectively engaging with diverse stakeholders and teams. Familiarity with relevant lifting software and technologies. Certifications related to lifting and hoisting operations (e.g., NCCCO, AISC, etc.) are an asset. Experience in the Middle East region is highly desirable. Comprehensive benefits package
