AP MANAGER – SKOKIE, IL

Aliya Healthcare, a leader in long-term care, is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable (AP) Manager to join our corporate team in Skokie, IL. We provide oversight and operational support to skilled nursing facilities across Illinois and are actively expanding into other markets.
This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented, hands-on AP professional with a strong background in healthcare or long-term care. The AP Manager will lead a small team, manage day-to-day operations, and ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance in all aspects of accounts payable.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 5+ years of AP experience, preferably in a multi-site healthcare or nursing home management environment
  • 2+ years of managerial or supervisory experience in AP
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and AP best practices
  • Proficiency in Sage Intacct and Adelpo (Preferred)
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUPs, filtering, etc.)
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong communication and leadership abilities
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and support AP staff, ensuring accurate and timely processing of all payables
  • Post invoices daily and oversee coding and entry to ensure accuracy and consistency
  • Manage weekly check runs, ACH, and credit card payments
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
  • Monitor AP aging and ensure timely payments
  • Lead monthly close process for AP-related activities
  • Maintain vendor relationships and communicate with facility teams and leadership
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and accounting standards
  • Create and maintain reporting using Excel and accounting software
