Job Summary Description:
The Accounts Payable Manager, under the direction of the Director of Accounting, will be responsible for overseeing a team of AP Associates who are processing accounts payable invoices for business units and will also provide accounting support as required with finance related projects.

Essential Job Accountabilities:

  • Vendor set up and maintenance
  • Invoice approvals for corporate expenses
  • Expense point approvals for all AP P-card transactions
  • Acumatica User set up and workflow set up and maintenance
  • Work with CFO and Treasury on check runs
  • Sends out Wires, ACHs, and cuts checks
  • AMEX Admin
  • Annual Report Renewals
  • Creates Purchase Orders in Acumatica
  • Yearly 1099 Processing
  • Update balance sheet
  • Send out waiting list twice per week
  • Clear wires and direct debits from Acumatica
  • Supervises AP Associates with their daily tasks
  • Vendor Master (enter new vendors, update current vendor information)
  • Other duties as assigned

Education:

  • Technical school preferred.
  • High school diploma or GED required.

Work Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in vehicle and /or equipment maintenance and repair.

Knowledge, skills, and abilities:

  • Good communication skills.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Ability to work outside normal working hours.
  • Ability to travel is a MUST

Additional Requirements/Skills:

  • Comply, understand, and support corporate safety initiatives to ensure a safe work environment
  • Ability and willingness to abide by PURIS’s Code of Conduct on a daily basis
  • Must be able to work a minimum of 40 hours per week
