LSEG’s Data & Analytics (D&A) business is focused on driving growth across Workflows, Data & Feeds and Analytics. The APAC region represents a considerable growth opportunity across all three areas. To accelerate growth in the region and to ensure an integrated business plan, supported by product roadmaps are in place LSEG D&A are looking to establish an APAC Community lead role. The APAC Community Lead will be responsible for working across the D&A Customer Community and Product teams to drive the vision and strategy for the region, partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated solutions that provide exceptional end-to-end experiences for customers in APAC using LSEG’s products. They are accountable for business performance (revenues, growth, customer satisfaction) in the region and serve as the voice of the customer within the organisation, ensuring that LSEG’s offerings meet the evolving needs of the region. The APAC Community Leader is a senior leader in D&A, accountable for the end-to-end success of a diverse region. The role involves defining the strategic direction for the region overseeing the development and delivery of integrated solutions across Workflows, Analytics, Data & Feeds, Content, and Platform. It spans multidisciplinary teams (community, platform, product, engineering, sales, account management, etc.) across multiple regions and works closely with other leaders within D&A and across LSEG to align offerings with group strategic objectives. The APAC Community Leader is responsible for driving innovation, customer engagement, and commercial performance in the region. They also represent D&A regionally both internally (e.g. leadership councils, cross-D&A initiatives) and externally (e.g. client forums, industry events, academic and regulatory engagements) as LSEG’s senior domain expert. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Vision: Define and lead the strategic vision for APAC, covering all relevant products and services across D&A. Establish clear priorities that address the unique needs of these diverse customer groups and articulate how LSEG will deliver value in each area. Commercial Ownership: Own the commercial performance of the D&A business in the APAC region, including revenue growth, user adoption, and customer satisfaction across all included segments. Use robust financial analysis and market research to identify opportunities or to package offerings in ways that drive uptake. Continuously monitor performance data, adjusting plans to meet targets. Investment allocation: Partner with Community and Product teams to prioritise investment aligned to the D&A strategy and ensure return on CAPEX investments Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional leaders across Communities, Sales, Engineering, Operations, Content, Workflows, Data & Feeds, Analytics, and Platform teams to deliver integrated, end-to-end solutions. Work across organisational boundaries to leverage the full breadth of LSEG’s capabilities for these customers. Holistic Roadmap Development: Partner with Community and Product teams to develop and maintain a comprehensive, customer-centric roadmap for the APAC region. Product Innovation & Delivery: Partner with Community and Product teams to drive innovation across the APAC region by overseeing end-to-end development and enhancement of solutions spanning Workflows, Analytics, Data & Feeds, and Content. Execution Excellence: Partner with Community and Product teams to eEnsure agile and effective execution of the community roadmap, from concept through to launch and iteration. External Advocacy & Engagement: Act as the senior representative of the D&A business in the APAC region in high-profile client engagements, industry forums, and partnership discussions. Advocate for the needs and expectations of APAC customers within LSEG, ensuring they are heard and met. Governance & Compliance: Partner with Community and Product teams to ensure all products and initiatives within the APAC region adhere to LSEG’s governance, risk management, and compliance standards. This includes maintaining alignment with relevant regulatory frameworks Risk Culture: Partner with Community and Product teams to embed a strong risk and compliance culture. Key Competencies: Strategic Thinking: Able to define and articulate a long-term vision for the APAC region. Market Insight: Possesses a comprehensive understanding of the APAC region. Keeps abreast of industry developments and niche competitor moves in these areas, identifying potential disruptors or opportunities for differentiation. Product & Innovation Leadership: Demonstrated ability to oversee a broad portfolio of products and to drive innovation. Translates heterogeneous client requirements into impactful features and end-to-end solutions. Champions a highly customer-centric design approach. Encourages creative solutions and “outside the box” thinking, continually pushing to improve or repurpose LSEG’s capabilities to solve real-world problems for these communities. Data & Tech Savvy: Fluent in financial data and analytics across a range of domains. Comfortable dealing with cross-asset data, alternative datasets, and niche content and understanding how they can be integrated into LSEG’s platforms. Able to engage deeply with technology teams on complex integration projects, whether it’s deploying new content via APIs and data feeds, leveraging cloud infrastructure for big data needs, or ensuring platform scalability for sporadic but intensive usage patterns. Embraces new technologies (AI, cloud, open APIs) as tools to better serve these communities. Execution Focus: Skilled in agile development and program management, capable of delivering results across multiple concurrent initiatives. Communication: Communicates complex and interdisciplinary ideas clearly and effectively. Can distil the vision for the APAC region into a compelling story for executives and also explain detailed requirements to technical teams. Adapts communication style to the audience: for instance, simplifying technical jargon when speaking to clients or senior stakeholders unfamiliar with a niche, and using data-driven arguments when engaging with internal finance or strategy teams. Actively listens to feedback from clients, partners, and team members, using it to refine approaches and demonstrating that their input is valued. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Exceptional at stakeholder management and influence. Operates effectively in a matrixed environment, bringing together colleagues from different parts of D&A (and across LSEG) to deliver results. Client Engagement: Comfortable and credible when engaging with a very diverse set of senior client stakeholders. Builds long-term relationships that turn early adopters in these communities into reference clients and advocates for LSEG. Influencing & Networking: Uses influence, not just authority, to drive outcomes. The leader is skilled at making these business cases and rallying support. Externally, maintains and grows a network of contacts to stay informed and identify partnership or talent opportunities. Commercial Acumen: Strong commercial instincts, with the ability to spot and realise revenue opportunities in unconventional places. Understands financial drivers across different business models – from subscription services and enterprise deals to usage-based models or strategic partnerships.
