POSITION SUMMARY:

Under the direction of the General Manager, Kamloops Operations, the Live-In Caretaker is responsible for the effective day-to-day operation, cleanliness, and on-site monitoring of a residential apartment building. The role ensures that the building remains clean, quiet, secure, and well-maintained, fostering a positive and respectful community for all residents. Service delivery is grounded in a client-centered, non-judgmental approach.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma (Grade 12) or GED; relevant industry experiences an asset.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Basic knowledge of residential building systems and maintenance.
• Physically fit and able to complete manual cleaning and maintenance tasks.
• Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Valid driver’s license and bondable.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• May reside in or out of the building.
• Must be available to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must respond to emergency situations and be on call as needed.
• Willing to participate in ongoing training and company-led professional development.

  Pay: $24.00-$28.00 per hour
  Expected hours: 40 per week
