Your New Role Are you an experienced integration leader who thrives at the intersection of modern engineering and stakeholder influence? As our API and Integration Manager, you’ll lead a team of engineers delivering mission‑critical integrations that power our global operations. You’ll play a key role in designing, building, managing, and optimising integrations within our Microsoft Azure based platform, including Logic Apps, Function Apps, APIM, Service Bus, Event Grid, and more. With the Fund shifting further towards a cloud‑native integration stack, this role requires someone who not only understands modern integration patterns, but who also brings deep expertise in core integrations disciplines. Both are essential as we deliver complex, large‑scale connectivity across a global technology ecosystem. This is a highly collaborative role with significant stakeholder engagement. You’ll influence how integrations are designed, implemented, and maintained across the Fund, guiding technical direction, coaching teams, and ensuring alignment with architecture, standards, and best practices. While you won’t be setting organisational strategy alone, your voice will help shape it. With a global remit, you’ll regularly connect with teams in the UK, and potentially the US, using our flexible working model to make this work for you. What You’ll Need Strong experience across modern cloud‑native integration services is ideal (with Azure preferred if you have this experience), but very strong knowledge and expertise in core integration capability and patterns is required. Proven track record in leading and managing teams of integration and API engineers in complex technical environments. Deep knowledge of integration engineering, including Logic Apps, Function Apps, APIs, API Management, events, patterns, and lifecycle management. Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills across senior technology and business teams. Ability to translate technical concepts for non‑technical audiences, guiding decisions and building alignment. Demonstrated experience successfully delivering high‑performance, secure, resilient, reusable, and scalable integration solutions. Strong understanding of DevSecOps principles, automation, configuration management, and cloud environment. Experience in driving Integration roadmap in complex environments. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proactive, curious, continuous‑improvement mindset. Ability to work across time zones with global teams, using flexibility to create working patterns that support collaboration. Experience in Agile delivery, ITIL frameworks, and engineering best practices. Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline; industry certifications desirable.
