You will work closely with API developers across multiple tribes, frontend engineers, solution architects, and product owners. Your Role As an API Developer, you will play a key role in shaping the APIs that power Hubexo’s content platform. Your work will ensure that our services are scalable, secure, observable, and aligned with modern architectural principles. You will transform high-level architectural specifications into robust, high-quality, and well-tested API implementations using TypeScript and Node.js. You will support the migration from legacy systems by building new event-driven APIs and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams. Your Core Competencies Strong proficiency in TypeScript, Node.js, and modern API design (REST API, GraphQL) Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases Familiarity with authentication, authorization, and security best practices Strong understanding of scalable architecture, cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP), and CI/CD pipelines Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative, agile team environment Excellent communication and documentation skills English proficiency at C1 level Your Additional Qualifications Experience migrating from synchronous to event-driven architectures Strategies for transitioning legacy data to event-sourced systems Experience building systems that bridge traditional and event-driven architectures Experience integrating, maintaining, or migrating PHP or C#/.NET applications Why Hubexo We’re not here to coast - we’re here to challenge, grow, and build better.
