St. Mary's is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) at our HIMG location.   We are seeking candidates who promote excellence in patient care by advancing the quality and scope of medical practice through clinical and surgical practice, education, consultation, research, and administrative roles in HIMG General Surgery. Qualifications EDUCATION:  Graduate of an approved Nurse Practitioner/Physician’s Assistant program                                                                 Licensure:  Current licensure in the State of West Virginia Board Certification as Nurse                             Practitioner NP-BC/National                              Certification in Physician Assistant (PANCE)PA-C                                                    Certification:  ACLS                                                                                                                               Prescriptive Privileges:  Comply with West Virginia Code related to attaining and maintaining limited prescriptive privileges.     EXPERIENCE: License/National Certification, BLS and ACLS required .      SKILLS:  Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with clients, staff and other health care providers.  Ability to use equipment needed for a thorough physical examination.  Behaviors which reflect  understanding, emotional stability, patience, tact and consideration for individual differences.
