Description
The Amazon Stores Financial Technology (FinTech) Team seeks a Finance Planning & Analytics (FP&A) App Development Engineer to manage our FP&A product suite and drive planning and month-end processes by working closely with the customers, engineers and finance teams. We are the tech team that builds and supports Worldwide Amazon Stores – one of the fastest growing, largest and most complex Supply Chains in the world. This role combines strategic stakeholder partnership with strong technical expertise, requiring advanced Excel proficiency and excellent communication skills. Basic Qualifications: - 5+ years of relevant IBM Cognos TM1/Planning Analytics work including system configuration, model building and developing reports or dashboards with TM1 experience - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS, or a related field - Experience building complex software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers - Experience in corporate finance including budgeting/planning, forecasting and reporting - Experience working with technical and business stakeholders from global cross-functional teams Preferred Qualifications: - Knowledge of the capabilities and constraints of the SFDC CRM application coupled with a good understanding of HR business processes - Experience implementing at least two full life cycle SFDC implementations successfully - Experience in a test-driven and formal QA development environment, including development, staging, production (or equivalent) deployment cycles - Experience working in an Agile or Scrum environment Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
