We are seeking a dynamic, experienced Marketing Manager to lead 360 marketing initiatives and drive business growth and customer engagement for the App Store in Japan. The ideal candidate will bring experience in games, mobile apps, subscription services, digital entertainment, and technology, along with strong leadership, strategic, and creative marketing skills. DESCRIPTION As the App Store Marketing Manager, you will lead strategic planning, project management, execution, and partnerships—both internal and external—for high-impact consumer marketing campaigns and initiatives. You will collaborate with international and global marketing teams to design and deliver impactful marketing programs. Working with business management, editorial, production, and creative teams, you’ll develop and execute locally relevant campaigns for Japan. You will also manage agencies to plan and execute paid media initiatives that resonate with customers and shape culture. Your success will be measured by the ability and result of App Store’s brand awareness, customer acquisition, and engagement across Apple-owned and paid media platforms. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Proven ability to lead strategic planning and deliver high-quality execution aligned with business objectives. Experience in managing large-scale, integrated marketing campaigns across owned, earned, and paid channels, including partnerships. Strong marketing analytical skills with a deep understanding of consumer insights, market dynamics, and cultural trends in Japan. Expertise in brand marketing and digital marketing; including performance, awareness, and social media strategy. An ability to take campaigns from concept to completion. Creative thinker capable of developing unconventional ideas and achieving impact even with zero-budget initiatives. Excellent project management skills, capable of handling multiple complex projects under tight deadlines. Ability to work towards tight deadlines, with proven experience in complex, large-scale, timing-critical projects. Self-starter with a strong sense of ownership, attention to detail, and hands-on approach to problem-solving. Exceptional communication skills in both English and Japanese (written and verbal); able to present compelling ideas and build trust across teams and external partners.
