QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Product Development, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in technical design, product development, and sourcing
  • Strong understanding of garment construction, grading, fabric performance, and quality standards.
  • Proficiency with tech pack creation and technical sketches created in corresponding programs (Excel, Adobe Illustrator, PLM/ERP systems).
  • Experience working with international vendors and knowledge of production cycles.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to bridge creative and commercial priorities.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, ability to manage multiple styles and timeline in a fast-paced, collaborative deadline-driven environment.
  • Experience working in ladies wear apparel (having additional experience with accessories, jewelry and footwear is strongly preferred).
  • Knowledge of knitwear, wovens & outerwear is an asset.
Responsibilities

ROLE OVERVIEW

The Apparel Fit Specialist supports the end-to-end product lifecycle, working closely with the Product Manager and Merchandising Manager to ensure apparel collections align with brand vision, market trends, and business objectives. This role bridges design, sourcing, and production by providing technical expertise on fabrics, garment construction, and quality standards, while ensuring collections are delivered on time, within budget, and at the required level of quality.
