Responsibilities

Apparel Product Developer - Mens & Womenswear
FULL TIME – 5 days a week, Mon-Fri 9am – 5pm
Based in Shoreditch office – Option of 1-2 days remote working
Multi product - Denim, Jersey, Woven & Knitwear

Working over multiple brands & categories

  • Create initial tech packs from design CADs
  • Update tech packs with design amendments
  • Collaborate with the Design team to develop new product through spec / workbook creation
  • Issue tech packs and specs to factories
  • Responsible for all aspects of garment quality assurance and fit, from 1st sample to production approval on designated product areas and covering other product areas as needed
  • Lead fit sessions for own product area working in close collaboration with the Design team
  • Risk assess product, ensuring construction, design and fabrics are fit for purpose
  • Work with Sourcing and Design to manage costs whilst maintaining brand handwriting and quality standards
  • Assess new samples with Design and action SMS samples with suppliers
  • Provide clear and accurate fit comments to suppliers within critical path deadlines.
  • Manage testing and safety standards on designated product area ensuring all products meet minimum and legal requirements including labelling
  • Create graded production specs
  • Maintain critical path documents
  • Check and submit GS (production) samples to customers
  • Work with Technical Manager to standardise key blocks with the support of design to increase speed and accuracy when fitting and maintain customer loyalty
  • Provide web team with fit information with aim to guide customers on size selection
  • Analyse and help resolve any quality issues and customer returns
  • Build strong relationships across the teams and supply base
  • Department projects as required
