Job Description Roles and Responsibilities: - Design and develop technical solutions on the Appian BPM Suite based on the requirements gathered. - Design integration requirements with other third-party platforms - Design data models - Defining architectural and development standards for the project in adherence to Appian and client's best practices - Able to do the Appian application deployments - Performing frequent code reviews and ensuring quality of the overall delivery - Performing User Acceptance Testing with business users, BA - Work with global teams, including business users, architects, technical personnel, to understand business processes and system requirements - Ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical groups, both internal and external Primary Skills: - 3 to 8 Years of experience in Architecture/Design and Development using Appian (Appian Level 1 Credential preferred) - Experience in Object Oriented programming languages primarily Java - Experience in developing on J2EE platforms, RDBMS platforms (Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server) - Experience in Distributed environments - Experience in working with at least one external integration, i.e. Web Services. - Good logical and analytical reasoning ability - Good team player - Fluent English communication and social skills to interact with a global team Secondary Skills: - Knowledge of Agile development methodologies - Experience in Banking/Financial industry is preferred Why this role is important to us Our technology function, Global Technology Services (GTS), is vital to State Street and is the key enabler for our business to deliver data and insights to our clients.
