WORK OPTIONS:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient Appian Technical Analyst to join our team.
In this role, you will support the delivery, enhancement, and maintenance of business-critical applications built on the Appian low-code automation platform.
You’ll collaborate closely with business analysts, developers, QA, and project managers to design scalable solutions and optimize business workflows.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • 5+ years of experience working with the Appian BPM platform (Appian Certified Associate Developer or higher preferred).
  • Strong understanding of Appian architecture, objects (records, interfaces, process models), and design principles.
  • Proficiency in writing SQL queries and working with relational databases.
  • Experience in integrating Appian with external systems via REST/SOAP APIs.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps pipelines.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience in financial services, insurance, healthcare, or other regulated industries.
  • Familiarity with cloud deployment (Appian Cloud or AWS/Azure-hosted environments).
  • Experience with automation, RPA, or decision modeling in Appian.
Responsibilities
  • Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications for Appian-based solutions.
  • Collaborate with Appian developers to design workflows, data models, user interfaces, and integrations.
  • Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in existing Appian applications and processes.
  • Create documentation such as solution designs, process flows, and test cases.
  • Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Monitor performance and recommend optimizations or enhancements.
  • Maintain knowledge of Appian best practices, emerging features, and platform capabilities.
  • Liaise with cross-functional teams including business stakeholders, architects, and infrastructure teams.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, grooming, sprint planning, retrospectives).
