This hybrid role, that may frequent our Northlake campus in Atlanta, Georgia, will serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for all Apple platforms—including macOS, iOS, iPadOS, visionOS, tvOS, and watchOS—across enterprise environments. The ideal candidate will have deep technical proficiency in macOS administration, MDM configuration, Apple device lifecycle management, and integration with enterprise systems, ideally in a healthcare setting. This role requires not only hands-on expertise in Apple systems but also the ability to configure, troubleshoot, and script Apple workflows using tools such as Jamf, Intune, or other MDM platforms. Experience editing configuration profiles and PLIST files, as well as contributing to minor development or integration work, is essential. RESPONSIBILITIES: Serve as the technical owner for Apple endpoint management across macOS and mobile platforms, including visionOS devices. Architect, deploy, and manage MDM solutions such as Jamf Pro, Microsoft Intune, or Workspace ONE to support enterprise-scale Apple environments. Perform advanced macOS troubleshooting, scripting (e.g., Bash, Python), and PLIST configuration editing. Partner with security and infrastructure teams to ensure Apple devices meet organizational compliance and security standards. Lead the creation of automation workflows, custom configurations, and Apple platform integrations. Provide Tier 3 support and escalation guidance for Apple-related incidents and requests. Collaborate with Windows and infrastructure engineers to support a mixed-platform enterprise. Document procedures, standards, and configurations in a structured and auditable format. Assist with Apple Business Manager (ABM) integration, device enrollment programs (DEP/Automated Device Enrollment), and VPP. Preferred Qualifications: 5–7 years of experience supporting enterprise Apple environments. Strong technical expertise in macOS, iOS, iPadOS, visionOS, and associated system internals. Proven experience managing Apple endpoints via Jamf Pro, Intune, or similar MDM solutions. Proficient in scripting, PLIST management, and configuration profile creation. Ability to perform minor development or integration tasks (e.g., custom enrollment flows, API usage). Working knowledge of enterprise IT concepts including identity management, networking, and device compliance. Experience supporting Apple devices in regulated industries, with healthcare preferred. Apple certifications (e.g., Jamf 200/300/400, ACSP, ACTC) or equivalent credentials. Familiarity with Apple Business Manager, Device Enrollment, Volume Purchasing, and Zero Touch Deployment. Experience with Entra ID (Azure AD), Okta, SCEP, and certificate-based authentication for Apple platforms. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related technical field (or equivalent experience). Strong communication and documentation skills. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related discipline and five years Infrastructure server administration experience OR seven years of Infrastructure server engineering experience.
