We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Appliance Technician to join our Doctor Appliance Repair Halifax team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical and mechanical systems, with a focus on appliance repair. As an Appliance Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various household appliances while providing exceptional customer service. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and interpersonal skills to ensure customer satisfaction.

REQUIREMENTS

• Proven experience in appliance repair with a strong understanding of electrical systems.
• Mechanical knowledge with the ability to work with various tools and equipment.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics for troubleshooting purposes.
• Experience in assembly tasks related to appliance installation is preferred.

  Pay: $20.00-$22.50 per hour

Work Location: On the roa

• Diagnose and troubleshoot appliance issues using schematics and technical manuals.
• Perform repairs on a variety of appliances including refrigerators, washers, dryers, ovens, and HVAC systems.
• Conduct routine maintenance checks to ensure appliances are functioning efficiently.
• Assemble and install new appliances as needed, ensuring all safety standards are met.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding repairs and maintenance options.
• Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs performed, and parts used.
• Stay updated on the latest appliance technologies and repair techniques through ongoing training.
