Description
Are you an experienced Application Manager who can take on a leadership role in our team? Along with your fellow application managers, you will be responsible for managing applications and interfaces. You will oversee software vendors and implement improvements in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. You are the key person who ensures that the applications are optimally aligned with the business process. You will serve as the point of contact for users and proactively resolve application issues using service management tools. You will monitor the correct usage of the application, track performance, availability, and functional operation. Additionally, you will analyze incidents (root cause analyses), resolve issues, assess the impact, identify problems, and propose improvements. You will also handle health checks, lifecycle management, and regular maintenance by the vendor. You will report on the progress of incidents and tasks to the Service Delivery Manager. You will participate in projects and contribute to testing and implementation activities. Furthermore, together with key users and suppliers, you will continually seek improvements in daily processes, which you will elaborate into change proposals and functional specifications. You will support deliveries to the business with user meetings, manuals, and training. Where will you work? Every day, with a large team, we produce 2.5 million packaging units which we deliver to the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, the United Kingdom, France, and Ireland. The IT team consists of 3 application managers, a service delivery manager, 3 service desk employees, a product owner, 2 business analysts, a data analyst, several project managers, some decentralized IT colleagues, and an IT Director. You will report hierarchically to the IT Director and functionally under the coordination of the Service Delivery Manager. You will also work closely with business key users and software suppliers. The IT team is based in De Lier. The applications you are responsible for include the ERP system, warehouse system, production planning system, AFAS (HR), Exact (Finance), Topdesk, and Workato (data integration). An experienced, senior application manager with a solid understanding of ITIL processes and service management tools; A completed MBO/HBO degree in business informatics or a comparable field; A service-oriented team player who encourages continuous improvement and sets a good example; Strong analytical skills and good communication abilities; Excellent command of both Dutch and English.
