EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Associate’s degree or above with focus in healthcare or information technology from an accredited institution preferred or 2+ years in healthcare, IT, or military experience
  • Demonstrated interest in behavioral health and information technology through coursework, internships, volunteer work, or related experience
  • Previously developed empathy and understanding of healthcare environments
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn new software applications
  • Capacity to quickly acquire and master new processes and workflows
  • Proven ability to manage administrative responsibilities including expense reporting, timekeeping, and remote work organization

As an Application Analyst I at Acadia Healthcare, you will apply your foundational experience to assist in the implementation of Electronic Health Record (EMR) and other workflow-impacting technologies across our facilities nationwide. This dynamic position offers exciting travel opportunities while building upon your existing healthcare or IT background to support critical implementations that enhance patient care delivery.
This position will be designated as a Remote opportunity, adhering to Acadia Healthcare’s policy and procedures. This position will require travel (up to 75%) to healthcare facilities, nationwide.
Responsibilities:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Learn and utilize development operations (DevOps) tools, project management platforms such as Smartsheets, and ticketing systems to effectively track and manage assigned work and organizational deliverables
  • Participate in pre-implementation activities, including documenting/communicating configuration needs to appropriate technical teams
  • Lead specific project segments and may be assigned as facility implementation lead after gaining experience through multiple implementations
  • Further develop and apply knowledge of healthcare software applications to provide first-tier technical support during the elbow-to-elbow support phase of implementations, working under the guidance of senior team members
  • Learn organizational structure to collaborate effectively with subject matter experts on assigned tasks
  • Facilitate training once knowledge has been developed to build end-user competency in healthcare technology systems and implementation processes
  • Document processes, troubleshoot basic technical issues, and escalate complex problems appropriately
  • Support data validation activities and assist with user acceptance testing procedures
