JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional with a strong background in application architecture and enterprise-scale data migration projects. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise in .NET, Python, and shell scripting, as well as hands-on experience with Snowflake and modern data architecture principles. A demonstrated track record of successful Oracle to Snowflake migration projects is essential.

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS

• Application Architecture: Proven experience in designing and implementing scalable and robust application architectures.
• Oracle to Snowflake Migration: Hands-on experience in planning and executing end-to-end migration projects from Oracle to Snowflake.
• Migration Projects & Impact Assessment: Demonstrated ability to lead application and data migration initiatives, including performing thorough impact assessments.
• Technical Expertise: Proficient in .NET application development, with strong skills in Python and shell scripting.
• Snowflake Platform: Practical experience working with the Snowflake data platform.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

• Data & Application Migration Strategy: Experience analyzing legacy systems and defining effective data and application migration strategies (minimum 2–3 projects).
• Data Modelling: Expertise in conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling (minimum 2 projects).
• Data Architecture: Solid understanding of data architecture design principles and best practices (minimum 2 projects).
• Performance Optimization: Proven ability to analyze and resolve performance bottlenecks within data models and systems (minimum 2 projects).
• Application Modernization: Experience in application modernization, including re-platforming and migration planning (at least 1 project).
• Systems & Integration Knowledge: Understanding of source systems and familiarity with standard data integration patterns.
• Stakeholder Management: Strong capabilities in stakeholder engagement, requirements gathering, and cross-functional communication.

DESIRABLE / NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS

• Advanced Snowflake Knowledge: Familiarity with advanced Snowflake features and optimization techniques.
• Industry Domain Knowledge: Exposure to asset management or financial services data environments.
• Industry Data Standards: Knowledge of relevant data standards and regulatory frameworks.
• Project & Risk Management: Experience managing project timelines, deliverables, and risk mitigation strategies.
